About this cartoon: Following the lead of the House Republicans, the GOP-led Senate crafted, in great secrecy, their plan to "repeal and replace" Obamacare. Like the folmer, it is a mean-spirited piece of legislation that would throw millions off of health coverage, provide worse care at more cost, cap maximum coverages (hurting the sickest) and (most importantly to the GOP) provide a tax windfall for the very wealthiest. Those with high-cost illnesses, such as cancer, would be mostly left to fend for themselves with denied or unaffordable health coverage, while average citizens would get skimpier coverage.
